Winch:

 The launching method of choice for The Central QLD Gliding Club is winch. This is primarily due to much lower launch and maintainence costs compared with aerotow.  For those unfamliar with the concept of a winch launch, click here for an animation.

Hangarage:

Hangarage is available at the club. Please see Contact Us page for enquiries regarding space availablity.

Club House and Accommodation:

The Clubhouse has both mens and ladies flush toilets, as well as hot showers. Gas is also plummed for running the fridge, stove and hot water service. Both 12v (solar/batteries) and 240v (generator) are available.

Accommodation is available at cost price (covers gas, fuel for generator) for less than $5/night.
